jless software package provides A file pager program, similar to more(1) supporting ISO2022, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jless
jless is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jless package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jless *
You will get with jless package name, version, architecture and description in a table
